Participant Waiver

Art in Color Studio: Participant Waiver and Release of Liability

Art in Color Studio is operated by Nightnest LLC ("Art in Color Studio"). Please read this before your workshop. You will also be asked to sign it when you arrive.

1. Activities and risks. Workshops may involve cutting and handling glass and tiles, sharp tools (glass cutters, nippers, needles), adhesives, grout, paints and other craft materials. I understand these activities carry risks, including cuts, scrapes, eye injury, skin irritation, allergic reactions and damage to clothing.

2. Safety rules. I agree to follow the instructor's safety instructions, use the protective equipment provided (such as safety glasses and gloves) when told to, handle tools and glass only as shown, and tell the instructor right away about any injury or unsafe condition.

3. Health. I am not aware of any medical condition or allergy that makes it unsafe for me to take part, or I have told the instructor about it before the workshop starts.

4. Children. Participants under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. The parent or guardian is responsible for supervising the child and agrees to this waiver on the child's behalf.

5. Assumption of risk and release. I take part voluntarily and accept the risks described above. To the fullest extent allowed by law, I release Nightnest LLC, Art in Color Studio, its owners, instructors and the venue hosting the workshop from claims for injury or loss arising from my participation, except where caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct.

6. Personal belongings. Art in Color Studio is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items, including clothing.

By ticking "I've read and agree to the Participant Waiver" when booking, and by signing at the workshop, the participant (or, for participants under 18, their parent or guardian) agrees to this waiver.
